Ordinarily, the beginning of the year is quieter than the rest of the year with regards to catering but this year has started with a bang! We’ve had events, left, right and centre! Great for us as we prefer to be busy and love having lots of new things to look forward to. We have already held our first pop up of the year, had many private parties to cater for and have had a photo shoot with Meze Publishing for our part in the Cotswold Cookbook (coming soon!) as well as taking lots of bookings for the spring/summer season and organising our online shop.

Last weekend was no exception – busy as ever! On Friday night we were catering a canapé party for the team at new eatery The Hive in Stow-on-the-Wold. Jayne and Sally wanted to thank all the people that had played a part in getting The Hive ready for its launch so we provided a canapé party full of both sweet and savoury delights. They seemed to go down a treat. On the Saturday we provided a buffet lunch for friends and family to celebrate the opening of The Hive. Saturday evening saw us providing a private formal dinner for friends celebrating two big birthdays – 40th and 50th!

We are now planning for our next event at The Hive which will be our first pop-up in that venue. It really is a gorgeous location with fantastic interiors; somewhere you would happily spend several hours sat in front of the fire with a large hot chocolate and slab of cake (or glass of wine!). We cant wait for our pop up on Friday 31st March and are thrilled to be working with Jayne and Sally. We have planned a seasonal tasting menu of four courses plus canapés for £35, the evening will start at 7.30pm.
